This curriculum was designed to meet the standards in Food Science and Hospitality programs.
This curriculum was developed by Chef Keio Carter Gayden who has served the DeKalb County School district in Georgia for more than 16 years. She teaches culinary arts at Miller Grove High School where she has earned Exemplary status certification with the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation.
Chef Gayden also serves as Head Culinary Trainer and Food Safety Consultant to Local Green Atlanta; the secondary educator for the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation Accrediting Commission; an advisor for the Georgia Family, Career, and Community Leaders of American (FCCLA); and a Certifiedd ServSafe Instructor.
