3 tablespoons butter
1 10-oz. packages marshmallows (40 regular marshmallows)*
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
6 cups crispy rice cereal
*substitute 4 cups miniature marshmallows OR 1 7-oz. jar of marshmallow cream
- Melt butter over low heat in a large saucepan. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter until thoroughly combined. Stir in crispy rice cereal until coated.
- Using waxed paper, evenly press mixture into a 13x9x2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Cool and cut into 2-inch squares. Serve same day or store in an airtight container.
