Ingredients

1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 pound lean ground beef ( you may sub ground Turkey)
1 red bell pepper, chopped
6 green onions, chopped
1/2 cup, ( plus 3 T) dry roasted peanuts, finely chopped, divided
1 bottle (12 oz.) Stir Fry Sauce
1 tsp peanut butter
1 to 2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
6 seeded hamburger buns, toasted
2 cups shredded green or red cabbage or broccoli slaw

Instructions

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tsp sesame oil, break apart beef. Cook, continuing to break into smaller pieces, until browned.

Add bell pepper and green onions. Continue cooking 3 to 5 minutes, until peppers have softened.

Stir in 1/2 cup finely chopped peanuts, red pepper flakes , Stir-Fry sauce and peanut butter. Reduce heat; allow to simmer 8-10 minutes, until thickened.

Serve meat mixture on toasted buns ( I prefer sesame topped buns)and top with shredded cabbage and more peanuts if desired.
