1 ripe banana
½ cup quick cooking oats
1 cup water
1 tablespoon milk
2 tablespoons peanut butter


  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Peel the ripe banana and place on a cookie sheet. Mash with a fork and
    roast in the preheated oven for about 12 minutes.
  2. Microwave the oats and water in a microwave-safe bowl for 2 minutes. Stir in roasted banana, milk, and peanut butter until creamy.

Per serving: 228 calories, 9.7 g fat, 2.1 g saturated fat, 1 mg cholesterol, 82 mg sodium, 30.9
carbohydrates, 4.6 g fiber, 9.3 g total sugar, 7.6 g protein, 0% vitamin D, 2% calcium, 14% iron, 8%

Note: You can add a little brown sugar or honey to taste, but the sugars in a ripe banana caramelize
when roasted so it really isn’t necessary.
